ERC Wiping Products, Inc., located in Lynn, Massachusetts, was established over 90 years ago, in 1921. ERC is a leading processor and distributor of absorbent cotton wiping cloths, soft polishing cloths, low cost rags, terry towels, presaturated wipes, durable paper wipers, microfiber cloths, mops, and spill control products. Over the years, ERC has revolutionized the wiping industry, by providing over 200 cloth choices. Unlike most of our competitors, ERC spends hours sorting and grading the wiping cloths, separating good from tattered, white from color, big from small, etc. At ERC, we have a wiping cloth for any application and any price range. Part of our commitment to our customers is to provide consistent product order to order in a timely manner. Most orders are shipped out the same day.
ERC also provides the largest selection of terry towels, in your choice of color, size, thickness, and price range. All the basic colors are in stock, along with a wide range of specialty colors, not found at other companies. ERC is a leading supplier of lint-free microfiber cloths and mops. Our cloths are available in your choice of size and color. We also stock a full line of microfiber mops, which have extremely competitive pricing. We offer a full selection of presaturated wipes for cleaning and disinfecting. Both surface and hand wipes are available. We keep a large inventory to meet any quantity, and any budget.

ERC Wiping Products, Inc. purchased its current 75,000 square foot facility in Lynn, MA in August 1998, tripling the size of our former building. The additional warehouse space allows us to keep large quantities on hand to ensure your items are always in stock, while allowing the space it needs for continued growth. This added room also allows us to take advantage of “special buys” that save you money. In 2010, ERC purchased an adjacent parcel of land for future expansion.
ERC continuously invests in packaging and industrial handling equipment to ensure our customers’ orders remain intact during shipment. Equipment includes a pallet stretch wrap machine, fork trucks, automated box sealers, pallet jacks, and a label barcoding machine in order to provide the best possible customer service and satisfaction. ERC has also added quality control numbers to most of our items. The QC number helps us to explain where and when the material was processed, and who it was packaged by. Many of our towels have similar numbers located right on the tag. ERC cares about the safety of our employees, so we have established ergonomic packaging lines to help alleviate excessive bending and lifting.

When will my order be shipped?
All orders placed before 2:00PM EST are shipped the same day from our facility. If you are in a rush, we will do our best to get your order to your door as soon as possible.
How do your products differ from your competitors?
All materials coming into our warehouse are sorted and separated by grade, size, and quality. What you pay for is what you get from the top of the box to the bottom. Not only do we carry a full line of standard grease rags, but we specialize in providing our customers with premium wipers for any and all specialty purposes they may have. Our warehouse is stocked with hundreds of thousands of pounds of wipers so that we can provide our customers with the same product time and time again. We take extreme pride in our superior customer service and are dedicated to making our customers happy.
What products do you offer besides cloth wiping rags?
ERC stocks a full line of quality terry towels, in your choice of color, size, and thickness. ERC also stocks a complete line of paper and non-woven, from industrial strength wipers to light duty lab wipes. We also stock microfiber towels, microfiber mops, presaturated wipes for surfaces and hands, foam hand sanitizer, latex, nitrile, vinyl and NitriVite gloves, as well as spill control products such as pads, socks, pillows, booms, spill kits and restroom paper.
Do you launder the wiping rags you sell?
Unlike a rental service that launders wipers, we are a disposable wiping cloth company. When you purchase a product from us, you own that product. You do not have to sign a contract to use our products, and there is no risk that the wipers you receive were at some point used as a rag by another company. Why should I choose a disposable wiper over a rented shop towel?
First, you have many more choices available to you when you purchase disposable wipers. ERC offers over 150 different types of absorbent wiping and polishing cloths, and durable paper wipers to meet your specifications. Second, when you rent, you have to enter a contract, which are usually associated with hefty charges should you break it. Third, rental towel laundries often impose hidden costs, including environmental and energy charges, loss charges, and weekly billings regardless of quantity used and returned. Also, many rented shop towels arrive with metal chips, chemicals, or other residues on them because you never get the same towels back. How do I determine which wiper I need?
Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will gladly help you find the right wiper for your application, while staying in your price range. By answering a few simple questions, we can match the correct wiper for your particular application and environment.
What are your forms of payment?
We accept American Express, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover for immediate shipments. You may also send us a check in advance. Upon completion of a credit application, we will be happy to bill you for 100 pound orders or greater with terms of net 30 days. For your convenience we now accept ACH transfers.
Is there a minimum order required?
The minimum order for credit cards or pay in advance payment is 50 pounds of rags, 1 case of our prepackaged items, or 5 dozen towels. Credit may be extended for higher volume orders. For shopping cart orders, a disclaimer will be beneath the “Add to Cart” button if there is a minimum order requirement.

When I became President, my vision was to build an organization that treated customers the same way I want people to treat me when I’m a customer. I started with employees that value customer relationships as much as I do. From the moment the phone is answered, I want you to feel welcome. I want you to know we want your business. We will gladly answer your questions, and work with you to find the wiper or towel that fits your application. I never like buying something and having to wait, so I insist that we ship orders out the same day. I also do not like unwanted products or substitutions, so I work hard to make sure we have back-up inventories. To provide consistent product from order to order, we have instituted a quality assurance program. If an issue of concern arises, it will be handled in a way that makes you feel satisfied.
