Inside Sales Representative
The inside sales representative is responsible for growing sales in an existing local territory, comprised of customers in a wide array of industries. Duties include calling established accounts to generate repeat and add-on product sales, resuscitating lost customers, and generating new business by handling incoming prospect calls and by calling prospective customers on the phon
ERC is looking for an individual with a voice that sounds intelligent, clear, friendly, and confident. Must be organized and motivated to succeed. A minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales or account management is required, preferably in consumable goods to government/military, healthcare, food processing, or hospitality. Candidates must also have cold calling skills. Prior knowledge of ACT! Contact management software is a plus.
ERC Wiping Products, Inc. is an 89-year-old company located in Lynn, MA. We process and distribute hundreds of varieties of wiping materials to large, medium, and small businesses throughout North America. ERC supplies over 8000 industrial, commercial, municipal, institutional, and service related customers. These customers span a wide variety of industries including manufacturers, food processors, automotive, marine, educational institutions, athletic teams, healthcare, and hospitality. The wiping products we supply include low cost rags, wiping and polishing cloths, specialty wipes, durable paper wipers, towels, spill control products, and pre-saturated disinfecting wipes.
We advertise and promote our business through inside sales activities, direct mail, magazine advertising, trade shows, and internet marketing. We have a strong commitment in retaining our existing customers, while at the same time attracting new business. A large percentage of our new business is generated from our website, which we are continuously improving and promoting. We are focused on our website optimization, and attracting the right customers.
