16" x 27" Hand Towel - This size is the most popular car wash towel. A hand towel can range in size anywhere from 15” x 25” up to about 16” x 30”. 20" x 40" Bath Towel -This size towel is a small bath towel, similar to the kind you would see at a lower priced hotel/motel. Small bath towels are also used as car body towels. People that prefer this size like to use the same towel for a longer period of time, so they don't have to keep reaching for a new one.

24" x 24" Half Bath Towel -Some car wash owners like these towels because they fold nicely into even squares, making it easier to train employees. Similar to small bath towels, half bath towels are also good for those who want a larger towel, and not want to swap out towels as frequently.

16" x 19"- Also known as “bar towels”, this size is ideal for windows, wheel wells, and door jambs. The smaller size allows you to wipe corners that would be difficult to do with a larger towel. Because these towels are lower cost alternatives to body towels, they are ideal for the greasier, dirtier parts of the car, such as wheel wells and door jambs.
